Structural drawings we review and stamp

Wood and cold-formed steel framing, beam and header sizing, foundations and footings, structural steel, reinforced concrete and masonry, retaining walls, decks, lateral (wind and seismic) systems, and rooftop equipment and solar racking attachments.

Each structural drawing review checks loads, member sizing, connections, and lateral design against the adopted building code for the project jurisdiction before the structural plans are stamped.

Structural calculations review

Building departments often want stamped structural calculations alongside the drawings. We review calcs prepared by your team or produce them where scope allows, then stamp the calculation package so it matches the drawings exactly.

When calculations and drawings disagree, we flag it before stamping. That mismatch is one of the most common reasons plan check sends structural comments back.

Outsourced structural PE stamping for engineering firms

Engineering firms use AllInStamp when a structural job lands in a state where no one on staff is licensed, or when in-house engineers are at capacity. We work from your drawings and calculations, keep your title block where appropriate, and return a stamped set on a predictable schedule.

PE vs SE for structural work

Most states allow a licensed PE to stamp structural drawings for typical buildings. Some states and project types, such as essential facilities, taller buildings, or schools and hospitals in California, require a licensed Structural Engineer (SE). Tell us at intake and we will match the right license.

FAQ

Can a PE stamp structural plans, or do I need an SE?
In most states, a licensed PE can stamp structural plans for typical residential and commercial buildings. Certain states and building types require an SE license. We check the requirement for your jurisdiction and route the job accordingly.
Do you stamp structural calculations only?
Yes. You can upload a calculation package on its own. It is priced by page count like any stamp set.
Do you stamp retaining wall and foundation plans?
Yes. Retaining walls, footings, slabs, and foundation repair plans are common structural PE stamping requests.
